(You do not need to enter any personal information)   PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT (formerly Permits and Inspections Department) Lynn Hicks Assistant Director of Permits, Inspection, and Code Enforcement An organizational change combined the former Planning and Permits departments into one newly designated department titled Planning and Development reporting to director Bryan Patrick. Assisting Mr. Patrick will be Mr. Lynn Hicks, the new Assistant Director of Permits, Inspection, and Code Enforcement. Mr. Hicks assumes many of the duties of the city's former Chief Building Inspector Ben Wiedower who retired in January 2008. Responsibility for issuing commercial and residential building permits and performing inspections of permitted work remain the same, as does the responsibility for issuing parking lot and sign permits. The City of Conway enforced the 2007 Arkansas Fire Prevention Code, Volume I (2006 International Fire Prevention Code with State of Arkansas Amendments), Volume II (2006 International Building Code with Arkansas Amendments), and Volume III (2006 International Residential Code with State of Arkansas Amendments).
