Any individual or organization planning an event in Simon Park on the Kris Allen Stage should make all requests at least 2 weeks before the desired date. Your date is held tentatively until application is received. Once received, the Mayor’s Office will notify the applicant by phone or email with decision. The facility must be reserved for use. Reservations will be accepted on a first come – first serve basis in the calendar year of schedule use. An administrative fee of $20.00 (nonrefundable) will be paid to the City Clerk within 7 days from the date the reservations are made to confirm the reservation.
Simon Park Kris Allen Stage Application
Any individual or organization planning to host or produce an event (5k/10’s, parade, festival, street closing ,etc.) which will be held in City of Conway and utilize city personnel/resources must complete an event permit application and return it at least 30 days prior to the event to the Mayor’s Office, Attn: Jack Bell, 1201 Oak Street, Conway, AR 72032 for approval. Response will normally be within 7 to 15 days. A $100 refundable deposit is required. If event is held or cancellation notification is received at least 7 days prior to event, deposit will be returned. Otherwise deposit will be forfeited. A W-9 is required for all event permits. All event permits should include preferred routes for each event.
